Diana L Pfauth

She was born July 27, 1963, in Battle Creek, Michigan to Kenneth F. and Beverly A. Holcomb. She attended Athens Area Schools, graduating in 1981. She also attended Kellogg Community College and afterwards obtained her RN license. She was married to and divorced from Robert Pfauth, II. She became interested in emergency care and while working at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she became a flight nurse. She worked as a traveling flight nurse/ER nurse around the country and as a nurse at Yellowstone National Park Hospital. She settled in Idaho Falls, ID working at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She left EIRMC for a short time to run a flight program in Elko, Nevada which soon afterwards, retired from flying. She finished her career back in Idaho Falls at EIRMC. Her career also involved being an emergency room nurse, a paramedic, and a teacher for advanced trauma care. She is survived by her father, Kenneth F. Holcomb, a sister, Patricia A. (Ted) Fuller, a nephew, Brandon M. Fuller, and a niece, Caci A. Fuller all of East Leroy, Michigan. She also had aunts, uncles and cousins that she stayed close to. She is survived by her special friend Dorin Howard and his family that she considered her own. She had friends all across the country that she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Beverly A. Holcomb and a brother-in-law, Ted Fuller. Diana enjoyed the outdoors, camping, traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and just enjoying life. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Pastor Bob Sherwood, officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate.Diana Lynn Pfauth, 51, of Idaho Falls went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 23, 2015, after an extensive battle with cancer which she managed to keep a positive attitude throughout.
