Horace L. Baugh

H.L. Jim Baugh passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was born January 29, 1922 in Burley, Idaho to Horace and Gladys Baugh. He married Loretta Jeppesen in Anchorage, Alaska on October 23, 1943. Their children are Judy Lorace Freed, H. Dan Baugh (Tami), Pat Barfuss (Rick), Margaret Avery (Gary), and Mary Farnsworth (Butch). She preceded him in death. He married Renee Bringhurst on September 15, 1973, and their child is Brevan Baugh (Kristin).
On July 1, 1994, Jim and Kaye Olsen Hamilton were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah temple. She was with him at his passing, and will always be with him. Their children are Ed Hamilton (Judy), Tammy Doney (Brian), Jean Holt (Jim Corns), Connie Kowallis (Laren), and Lauri Hamilton. Together they have 47 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren, and counting.
Jim was always an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served in many callings. He was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed singing all his life, loved food and cooking, and traveling.
A graveside service will be held at Logan City Cemetery on July 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Your kind thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated so no tokens or flowers are necessary.
