John Edward Dwight III

December 3, 1989 — February 28, 2014

He was born December 3, 1989, in Idaho Falls to John E. Dwight, Jr. and Carla Chelan Dwight. He attended Sunnyside Elementary School, Taylorview Jr. High, Idaho Falls High School, Elk Creek Academy in Heron, Montana. He attended the University of Idaho for three semesters. John was an accomplished driller, working for Greenup Geo Drilling of New Mexico on the installation of clean energy systems for LoopTech in New Mexico and Texas, and in support of uranium exploration for Uranium One in Wyoming. More recently, he returned to Idaho Falls and worked for Hard Core Construction of Rigby as an apprentice housing framer. He loved sports and outdoor activities. He played youth soccer, basketball, and ice hockey, but his real passions were rock climbing, snowboarding, long boarding and wilderness camping. He loved adventure. A beloved son, brother, uncle and grandson, he is survived by his parents John and Carla, his sisters Elizabeth (Chad Connatty) and Natalie, his niece Kenzlie Ann, and his grandparents Jack and Mary Ann Dwight of Estero, Florida, and Tess Greenup and Jerry Adcox of Pocatello, Idaho. John cherished his friends, family, and his dog Bo. He was loving, generous, forgiving, never held a grudge, and never turned his back on a friend. He could always raise a smile, and will be missed greatly by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held at11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Buck Miller Hann Funeral Home at 825 E 17th St. in Idaho Falls. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Idaho Food Bank in John's memory.John Edward Dwight III, 24, of Idaho Falls passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 28, 2014..
