Mary Elizabeth Gardner

Mary Elizabeth Gardner, 63, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Idaho Falls. She was born on March 24, 1950 in Pocatello, to John and Darlene Stewart Cunningham. She grew up in Burley, Idaho and later lived in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. She worked as a waitress in her younger years but was stricken with muscular dystrophy in her early 30's. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She liked fishing, camping and genealogy work. She was a caring, loving person; who's family meant everything to her. Survivors include her son, Kenyon D. Gardner of Idaho Falls; her brother Kent Whitehead of Idaho Falls; special friend, Don Bernard of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters, Jackie Whitehead and Shirlene Cunningham Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Jack Klein officiating.
