In Loving Memory of Robert (Bob) G. Dalton

Robert (Bob) Dalton was born in Cowley, Wyoming to Ralph and Dean Dalton on August 12, 1941. He grew up in Clearfield, Utah. He met his soulmate, Karen Stoker, and on January 14, 1961, they united their lives in marriage.

The Dalton family, including their beloved sons Rex (Shannon), Tim, James (Liz), and Randall (Lacy).  Together Bob and Karen embarked on a new chapter in 1965, settling in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Here, amidst the beauty of the region. Bob's passions for horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and golfing blossomed. The surrounding Rocky Mountains served as the playground for countless and cherished memories for the whole family.

In 1988, Bob and Karen established their forever home in Shelley, Idaho. His dedication and strong work ethic led him to a successful career at Argonne National Labs at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL).

Bob's love for Karen endured for an incredible 62 years, a testament to their enduring bond. Bob's unwavering support made him a true friend, a devoted father, and a cherished partner.

While Tim preceded him in death, he is survived by his loving wife and his 3 sons. His legacy continues to shine through the generations with his 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

We will gather at 11:00 AM on September 16, 2023, at Parkwood Meadows Retirement Center located at 1885 Parkwood St. in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to honor his memory. There will be a celebration of  Bob's life and how he touched those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey. A luncheon will follow.
