Born in Ontario, OR on June 23rd, 2010 to parents Dale and Jenné (Carr) Schiffhauer, she resided in Fruitland, ID with her beloved family, including two older and two younger siblings and her dog Lucky.

Alanna was a proud first grader and loved every minute of school; she was also made an honorary graduate of Fruitland High School. She was strong-spirited and known to be both caddywahompus and feisty, but more so, was always full of love and joy.

At the age of 4, Alanna was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. For the next year she spent countless hours in and out of hospitals battling this disease, and she had a full year in remission before the cancer returned.

Alanna put a lot of life into her short, yet remarkable time on earth. She enjoyed family time at home, going to school, an incredible trip to DisneyWorld, a Princess Ball in her honor, motorcycles, The Idaho Steelheads, dancing, road trips, and snapchat - just to name a few.

Alanna met many special people throughout her journey and would form an army of "Battle Buddies" from across the nation and across the world. Yet the out pouring of love and support from her own community would go unmatched. They called her princess....and she truly was.

Alanna is survived by her parents Dale and Jenné; sisters AnnaLisa, Angelina, and Aliyah; her brother Silas; Godparents Raymond Ortega and Corina Schiffhauer; grandparents Tom Schiffhauer, Veronica Ortiz, Tammy Johnson and David Carr; her Aunt Chrissy (Carr) Mosso; uncles Joe Carr, TJ Schiffhauer, and Raymond Ortega; and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her puppy Chewie; her cousins Mariah Schiffhauer and Cecelia Roden; great grandparents Philip and Carman Vargas, Carol Brile, and Joseph Schiffhauer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jenné Schiffhauer/Donation 6447, c/o of any Washington Federal Bank.
