Allora Dawn was born September 20, 1989, in Idaho Falls, ID to Brandi Nelson and John Adams. Allora went to school in Idaho Falls and Big Piney, WY. She enjoyed cheerleading and track in school. Allora loved writing poetry, shopping with her friends, and watching movies. Her favorite show was Friends, and she watched it non stop. Allora had the incredible ability to find the good in everyone and everything. She was an extremely positive person. Even as she battled her own crisis, she would find a way to give those around her a boost. "To meet Allora was to have your life touched and enriched." Allora was an inspiration to so many. Her favorite saying was, "What doesn't kill me, it makes me stronger." She truly lived by these words. Allora was survived by her parents, Brandi and Bryan Nelson, John and Amy Adams; one brother, John Jr.; and three sisters, Lexi Nelson, Miaah Adams, and Bailey Adams; Grandparents, Bob and Allie Morris and Ken and Coralie Smith; Uncles, Lance Calhoun, Lucas (Traci) Calhoun, and Dylan Morris; and one Aunt, Lyndsea Morris. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Shari Leatham and Paula Marts. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley. The service will be followed with a gathering of family and friends at the LDS Church in Shelley on the corner of South Park and Fir Street to celebrate Allora's life. The family wishes to thank all of her family and friends, the "Walmart Family", Hands of Hope Hospice, especially Jill, for their incredible support. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up the Allora Dawn Memorial Fund through US Bank to help with funeral and medical costs. Funeral services are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home.On Monday, September 12, 2011 surrounded by her family, our beautiful angle Allora Dawn Adams put on her wings and returned to heaven after an incredibly courageous battle with a long term illness.
