Ann Kunkel

August 31, 1944 — February 9, 2016

Ann was born Aug. 31, 1944 to Alfred and Geraldine Booth in Seattle, Washington. Following the death of her father at an early age, Ann was blessed with a new father John Harms. Ann moved with her father and mother to Ely, Nevada and then to Anaheim, California. Ann met and married Roy Conner in April of 1961 and to this union was born four children, Jeff, Barry, Annette and Dee. Ann and Roy were later divorced. In July of 1989 Ann married the love of her life Thomas Kunkel and with this union came stepchildren Dion Connell and Brandy Shildmyer. Ann and Tom made their home on their ranch in Rogerson. Ann loved to go camping, participating in four wheel rides with the ATV Club, traveling and spoiling her children. Ann was a wonderful cook and loved to read. Ann is survived by her loving husband Tom, children: Barry (Shelley) Conner of Filer, Idaho, Dee (Traci) Conner of Wendover, Nevada, Dion (Trina) Connell of Nampa, Idaho and Brandy (Cory) Shildmyer of Azle, Texas, 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Geri and John Harms and Alfred Booth, son Jeff Conner, daughter Annette Slugouski and son-in-law Slugger Slugouski. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Ann's name to the Hollister Community Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice. A funeral will be held for Ann at 1 pm on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Twin Falls Reformed Church 1631 Grandview Dr. N., Twin Falls, Idaho with a viewing one hour prior at 12 pm. Burial will follow at the Filer Cemetery.
