Her family moved to Idaho Falls where she finished the 10th grade. She went on to attend Beauty School and completed her GED. She married Edward S. Golie on July 9, 1958 in Burley, Idaho, where she began her journey as a Navy wife. The military life was transient, but eventually they settled down in California. Annetta always wanted children and becoming a mother was one of her greatest joys. Ed retired from the Navy in 1972. Now working for an engineering firm they raised their family in Mesa, AZ. Annetta and Ed began their cross country travels in 1998 after Ed had retired from Factory Mutual. She enjoyed retired life with Ed, settling down in Priest River, Idaho for a few years. Longing to be closer to her family they eventually moved to Ammon, Idaho last year. Her journey had now brought her full circle. Annetta was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests were whatever her daughters wanted to do. She enjoyed making all kinds of crafts. Annetta loved her dogs. She was very generous, kind hearted, outspoken at times and loved her family very much. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Michelle (Tim) Cassel of Menifee, CA., and Wendy (Jeff) Wells of Lake Tapps, WA; and two sisters, Bess (Clayne) Stoddard and Carol (Lloyd) Hurley, both of Ammon; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
