He graduated from Ammon High School and joined the Army in 1939. He served in WWII as a Sergeant. He married Jennie Bennett in 1945, and she passed away in 2011 after 66 years of marriage. Arden farmed and ranched in Idaho Falls and Island Park. He was a 33rd degree Mason. He spent his later years farming on South Holmes Road with his nephew Brad Snarr. He loved farming and ranching. Arden and Jennie enjoyed spending summers in their summer home in Island Park. Survivors include his son, Bennett (Judy) Lee of Idaho Falls; sister, Virginia (John) Deinstadt of Springville, Utah; granddaughters, Rori Lee of Reno, Nevada, and Erin Lee of Idaho Falls; great grandson, Maxwell Rooney of Reno, Nevada; and great granddaughter, Marley Rooney of Reno, Nevada.
