Arlene was a giver; to family, friends, her church, her community and even to strangers. She was the matriarch of her family which consists of her four girls, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grand daughters. Her hands were never idle, she was a talented seamstress, a master quilter and an award winning baker. Arlene was a true teacher, willing to share her knowledge and talents with those who had the desire to learn, including the many customers that she served during her tenure in the fabric department at Walmart. Arlene was deeply grounded in her faith and was able to use that faith as an anchor to get her through the many trials of life. Out of that faith came peace to her family when she journeyed on to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Arlene was born on May 8, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Edna Hoyle (Can you spell okra?). Very appropriately, many of Arlene's birthdays fell on Mother's Day. She is survived by her four daughters: Sandy, Emily, Zoe Ann and her partner Carter, and Candace and her husband Scott; and their children and their children and their children. She was greeted in Heaven by her parents, sister, two grandsons and a host of family members that passed before her. "Love you twice as long."
