Austin Cole Miera

Austin Cole Miera, 17, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away, Friday, September 18, 2020. Austin is the son of Joshua Ballard and Shantell Johnson. He was a senior at Skyline High School in Idaho Falls. At school he had organized several clubs and invited all to participate. He had energy to spare and loved to compete in sports. He was known for helping others and had a heart of gold. He was born in the wrong era, being very polite and giving to others, especially his Pappa. He helped his mother take care of his family and Pappa. He could learn anything, referring to his learning channel, u-tube, recently replacing his own stereo in his car.
He really looked up to his best friend and father, Joshua. He loved to go to work with him. Cutting trees or laying pipe, it was all time to be with his dad. His mother was his queen, always looking for ways to serve her.
Austin is survived by his parents, Joshua and Shantell. His siblings, Alexis Johnson, Talon Ballard, L.J. Johnson, Abbigail Ballard, and Ashlynn Ballard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob "Pappa" and Tina "Nanna" Marshall. Pappa passed away shortly after Austin and we are sure they are together in Heaven.

A funeral service will be held for Austin and Pappa on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Buck Miller Hahn Funeral Home (825 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, ID). Austin's family will meet with friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 AM.
