Avon R Wilde

Avon Ray Wilde, 97, of Roberts, passed away January 24, 2024 in Rigby, Idaho with family at his side.

He was born October 4, 1926 in Arco, Idaho to George Andrew Wilde and Alice Rae Burton Wilde, their 3rd child. They moved their family to Roberts in the 1930's and Avon lived there most of his life with exception of his time abroad while he served with the Navy Sea Bees during World War II.

Avon married Cloy Ann Monroe on March 3, 1947. They raised their family in Roberts where he was a farmer for many years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Melvin, Alvin, Elmer and Herbert. His Sons, Ronald Ray Wilde and

Rodney Calvin Wilde and 2 grandchildren, Lori An Ostermiller + Chad Lamond Wise Avon is survived by his loving wife Cloy of 76 years. His Daughters, Marie Ward and Daughter Maxine Iwen and her husband Richard, Sister Leona Jones, 16 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and 55 Great, Great Grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
