Barbara Gertrude Kelly, 86, of Twin Falls passed away at home on January 17, 2017. Bobbie was born July 2, 1931 in Providence, Rhode Island to Creighton and Edith James. Bobbie attended schools on the East Coast. At a young age she learned the art of jewelry design and worked with a jewelry artisan. She moved to California in 1970 where she met the love of her life, Lee Kelly. They met at Interstate Electronics, where Bobbie was an electronic technician. After Lee's retirement they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in 1990, where she quickly made many friends. Bobbie was an avid painter with over 500 paint by number portraits to her credit. She volunteered with Homeland Security. She was active in the Magic Valley Ham Radio Club and quite proud when she earned her Ham Radio license, her FCC call sign was KC7JKC. Bobbie was a devoted wife and partner to Lee. She was meticulous in the care of his every need. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Lee and Misty her beloved dog of Twin Falls, Son John Lopes of Rhode Island, Granddaughter Debra Cabral, of Massachusetts and numerous grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother Edith, Sister Carol and favorite Aunt Alice. The family would like to thank Visions Home Health and Hospice, A Caring Hand and special friends Makenna Johnson and Charlene Surbaugh for the excellent care provided to Bobbie.
