It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Roberts a devoted mother, wife, grandmother great-grandmother and friend. Born November 11, 1941 in San Luis, Colorado, to her loving parents Joseph Augustine Buhr and Zelda Luster Buhr, along with 2 brothers Eddie and Richard and a sister Margaret.
She had a family with Jim. Together they had one son Don. She later married Donald Gene Roberts, February 19, 1971 this brought 3 more children, 2 girls Tammy and Treasa and one son Tracy to their family. In 1973 they had youngest daughter Denise. This completed their family and created a lasting love and brought joy to her life. Mom also accepted Trecia Rodgers (Don's wife) and Ken Tolliver (Denise's forever love) as her own. She adored her five children. Donald James (Trecia) Rodgers of Corpus Christi TX, Tracy Donald (Patty) McCarty of Bosque Farms, NM. Treasa Christianson of Denver, CO., Denise Roberts Eatman (Ken Tolliver) of Idaho Falls, ID., and Tammy (Louis) Brown of Los Lunas, NM. She loved working for Safeway. She worked there for many years. After moving to Red Top, CA., She was a stay at home mom and also worked summers at the Red Top Post office. She was not afraid to get out and help Don on his farm from time to time. In 1981 Don and Barbara became the proud owners of their own business the Wagon Wheel Bar. Barbara worked there, helping Don run the business till "retiring" in Idaho Falls in 2002. Of course she was not one to sit around so she kept busy with many jobs in the assisted living homes in Idaho Falls. She finally retired for the last time from Pine Brooke Assisted living in 2015. She had many hobbies over the years her love for cooking, crafting, and gardening was a few. Her biggest fulfillment in life was her kids and grand-kids. Throughout her life Barbara battled with many health issues. She continued to carry a smile on her face and always was there to lend a helping hand if needed. She will forever be with us but we announce her peaceful passing January 10, 2018. Her wish was to be at home with her loved ones and in familiar surroundings. She peacefully went to sleep for her last time surrounded by love.
