Condolences may be made to Betty's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Betty was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Wabash County, IL, to parents Otto and Hattie Crump. Siblings include Otto Crump, Rudy Crump, William Crump, Winona Alspaugh, Alice Eberhart, Roy Crump, Lou Ann Butler, Barbara Reichart, Larry Crump (Betty), and Juanita Pepple. Betty was married to Elmer Dale "Dick" Ireland June 5, 1946 in Morgansfield, KY. Betty and Dick later moved to the Council, ID area where they reared three children; Michael "Mike", Linda L., and James "Jimmy". She and Dick were active in community groups, and loved to spend time socializing and golfing with friends. After Dick's death on March 2, 1971, Betty and young Jimmy moved to the New Plymouth area to be around friends and family. Betty worked at the local drug store, where she met the love of her life, Glenn Wolfe. Betty and Glenn were married Aug. 27, 1975. Betty and Glenn shared in the chores of raising Betty's young son Jimmy. Betty and Glenn loved to travel, and spent time together in one of their motor homes touring the USA with good friends Howard and Nelda Platz. Their travels took them from Alaska to Mexico, Hawaii to Maine, including a cruise through the Caribbean. Betty loved to talk with everyone and was able to make numerous friends wherever they stopped along the way. As their families grew Betty and Glenn spent most of their time visiting their 20 grandchildren. Other hobbies were gardening, caring for her flowers, and she loved to collect things, which her dolls were among her favorite. If not going to yard sales, you could find Betty working on a new painting or craft project, or even entertaining a bridge game at her home. Betty is survived by husband Glenn E. Wolfe; children, Jim Wolfe (Joy) of Edgewood, WA, Jerrie Wolfe (Pat) of Boise, ID, Dennis Wolfe (Shirley) of Nampa, ID, Mike Ireland of New Plymouth, Linda Weaver (Jack) of Lake Jackson, TX, and Jimmy Ireland (Tina) of Payette; and siblings, Larry, Lou Ann, Barbara, and Juanita.
