Beverly Joan Benson 81 daughter of Karl John and Zelda Iris Toft, was born December 3, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on November 24, 2016 at her home. She lived in Omaha for early childhood, then moved to California. She attended high school in California. She married Richard Anderson and was later divorced. She married Clarence O. Benson on November 6, 1960. They just shared their 55th wedding anniversary.
She worked at Roger Bros. Potato Warehouse for a few years, then she was employed at Eastern Idaho regional Medical Center for over 30 years and retired from there. She enjoyed working with people and was a joy to be around. She was loved by everyone that she worked with including strangers that she would meet taking them up to surgery. She always made everyone feel very comfortable on any given day.
She was blessed with four children and was a great mother to them. They admired her for all her accomplished that she had done in her life. She always put everyone ahead of herself, and never looked back, and was always there if they needed her. Always there to help with watching grandchildren to great grandchildren anytime of the day. One of her favorite things to do was watching grandkids at school performance and sports.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting since she moved to Idaho. She loved to spend time in the mountains. Every weekend throughout the summer months was spent in the mountains with family and friends. She was very well loved and her influence will forever remain in the lives that knew her.
She was survived by her husband Clarence O Benson of Ammon, daughter Tonie (Tracy) Marlar of Idaho Falls, son-in-law Ron B. Polson of Roberts. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl John and Zelda Iris Toft, Brother William J. Toft, two sons Rick C. Benson, Robert C. Benson, and a daughter Tammie M. (Ron) Polson
