Blaine Clark Higley

Kimberly - Blaine Clark Higley, 64, returned home to his Heavenly Father on October 21, 2015. He was born May 26, 1951 in Acequia, Idaho to Clark and Colleen Higley. Blaine met and married his sweetheart, Yvonne, in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1977. They were happily married for 29 years while they raised their five children. He found happiness again when he met and married Jackie Spanbauer Paskett in 2010. They were the best of friends and found most enjoyment in visiting their many kids and grandchildren. Blaine was kind, loving, and genuine. He was always offering advice, especially which knife to use in the kitchen. He loved to master recipes, now the lawn, spend time outside, shoot guns with his boys, and do photography. He recently found a new passion in cycling. He was an active member of the LDS Church. His family was blessed to have a great father, a kind and patient husband, and an example of living the gospel. Blaine is survived by his wife, Jackie; his children, Yvette (Matthew), Nikell (Jason), Michele (Ben), Blake (Shauntel), and Brent (Beejae) and 21 grandchildren; his parents, Clark and Nola, one brother, and three sisters. He was reunited with his wife Yvonne, his mother Colleen Higley, and his mother-in-law, Betty Allen. We love and miss you, Dad! A funeral will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Kimberly LDS Stake Center, 3850 N. 3500 E., Kimberly, ID. A viewing will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" and one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the care of White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park."
