Brandon Heath Rapp was born May 29, 1983 in Boise, Idaho to Amy Jo Bartol and Mark R. Rapp. He departed from this physical world on March 18, 2015.
There was never a dull moment when Brandon was around. He had a contagious laugh and smile. He loved his nieces and nephews, always making time to get down on their level to play with them. When he became a daddy, his world transformed to revolve around his daughter. Some of their best memories were the simple things like feeding the ducks, going to the park, visiting the cabin, playing video games, or backyard campfires. Brandon knew he was not perfect, but those human imperfections did not define the man he was. He was a loving son, and would jump at the opportunity to help anyone in need, especially his mother. Hours before his death, he helped his mother with some heavy lifting, which was his final act of kindness for her. He was always willing to drop whatever he was doing to help her. He was strong in stature, not afraid of hard work, but melted into the arms of any hug and was never the first to let go. His sisters could not have asked for a more loving and supportive brother. He was their biggest cheerleader, as were they to him. His family always teased him about his large feet, and with his passing those words still ring true. He has big shoes to fill, and he will never be replaced.
Brandon was a licensed HVAC Journeyman and enjoyed working for A-1 Heating & Air Conditioning. He was loved by co-workers and always brought a smile to their faces. On the job sight, you could count on Brandon singing, which was always entertaining.
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories, his daughter Alli Marie, mother Amy Jo (Mikel) Bartol, father Mark R. Rapp, two sisters Mari (Adam) Cluff, and Heather Rapp, two half-brothers Jordan and Ryan Rapp, maternal granddad Richard Hutchison, paternal grandmother Betty Rapp, he also leaves fiancé Claira D. Gilbert and her children Oreana and Damon, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Marilou Hutchison, his paternal grandfather Mark O. Rapp and his great grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family has opened a savings account for Brandon's daughter. Donations can be made at any Key Bank with the last four digits 6499, in the name of Alli M. Rapp.
