Bulah Anderson Dunford

On Sunday February 4, 2018 our dearly beloved Viking wife, mother and grandmother Bulah A. Dunford, age 91 passed away at her son LeRoy (Kathy)'s home in Twin Falls, ID. She was born on June 11, 1926 in Oasis, Utah to Leroy & Pearl Anderson, as a child they moved to Kaysville, UT where she attended and graduated High School in 1944. She went on to work at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield, UT where she met and wooed the love of her life Arthur Dunford, with her sandwiches; they were married on October 21, 1946 in Roy, UT and were later sealed for eternal life at the Ogden LDS Temple on March 14, 1978 . After marriage they moved to Arco, ID where they began adopting their children. After a bad winter in 1956, Art drew a homestead located in Paul, Id and early that next year they moved. Her family was finally completed after adopting three additional children, whom she loved dearly. During her many years on the homestead she enjoyed drawing and doing various water colorings, taking photos of sunsets, walking, quilting, canning, and fishing. She loved keeping up with her multiple gardens, and spending countless hours with her children and grandchildren, and most of all square dancing with Grampa. As retirement came, her and Art traveled various western locations with friends and made the family believe Jackpot was their new home. As the years went on and driving everyday was no longer an option, they settled at their home in Paul, Id where they would continue to live alone with lots of visits from family until late 2017. Bulah is survived by her husband, Art Dunford; her children, Linda (Bob) Frayer, LeRoy (Kathy) Dunford, Debra Bandy, Greg (Sylvia) Dunford; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren, whom will all miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her son, John Dunford, who lost his battle to cancer last January. A celebration of Bulah's life will be held as a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Oasis Cemetery in Oasis, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will take place on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls.
