A private gathering will be held Saturday March 31st. Mother had been in the care of Teton Acute Care Center. Her husband Cecil was by her side as he had been for the past 63 years. Mother was born in Logan Utah September 26th, 1930 to Sydney C. Garrard and Arvella Cazair Garrard. She was the eldest child of the five children born to that union. Rolita, George, Gerald, and Marlin were her siblings. She had a brother Robert 14 months older that she dearly loved as well as LaRae and Gary Archibald. Stories were told of how fiercely she protected her brothers and sister. She remained this way all of her life. The majority of mothers schooling was in Laurel Montana and Pocatello Idaho, She graduated in 1949 from Kalispell High School. Mother enjoyed sewing dolls, stuffed animals clothes and quilts. She embroidered many items as gifts for family and friends. Each grandchild has received a special quilt from her. Mother enjoyed having pets. Cats and dogs particularly. When she was younger she enjoyed horses very much. Mother was an especially dedicated and proud grandmother and cared deeply for her grandchildren: Steed Flint, Brittney Flint Martinez, Joshua Cecil Flint, Aaron Bagley, Brooke Flint Grover, Brianne Flint Semens, Nathaniel Moore, Lucas Michael Hansen, Devri Flint Ashton and Kennedy Flint.
