Charles Forrest Graeber

Charles Forrest Graeber, 69, passed away at his home in Roberts, on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was born on July 31, 1944, in Rigby, to Harlan Adolph and Dorothy Agnes Lapacek Graeber. He attended Roberts Elementary and Roberts High school. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Molly Marie Jakovac on July 26, 1975 in Salmon. He worked for Snake River Farm, Clar-Del Farms and Taylor Brothers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was a kind, gentle, hardworking man of strength. He was a compassionate, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. We will miss his contagious warm smile.
Survivors include his wife Molly of Roberts; two daughters, Amy (Ramon) Tafoya of Caldwell, and Amalia Graeber of Idaho Falls; one son, J.C. Graeber of Roberts; two sisters, Ferrol (Chuck) Katsel of Billings, Montana, and Nancy (Robert) Martinez of Federal Way, Washington; and five granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 1690 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls, with Military Rites under the direction of the Bonneville Veterans Team and the Idaho National Guard. A rosary will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a viewing following from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Attention Donor Services, 6126 W. State Street Suite 305, Boise, ID 83703, phone number 1-800-272-3900 or to your favorite charity in memory of Charles.
