Christine Warner Jensen, 62, passed away, after a valiant battle with cancer that she had been fighting for 35 years, on January 14, 2015 and joined her eternal companion, Jerry who passed away December 31, 2014. A service honoring Christine's life will be held at the Payette 2nd Ward LDS building, 501 S. Iowa Ave. Payette, ID at 10:00 a.m., on January 19th. There will be a viewing from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. prior to the church service. Graveside services for both Christine and Jerry will take place at the Spanish Fork Cemetery in Spanish Fork, UT at 10:00 a.m., on January 24th. Christine was born Dec. 18, 1952 in Redwood City, CA, where she spent much of her early life. She served an LDS mission to Argentina and graduated with a BA in Psychology from BYU in Provo, UT. Christine met her first husband, Bob, and raised her family in Provo and Spanish Fork. Christine met Jerry Jensen in 2003, and after a whirlwind courtship, they were married in January 2004. They were sealed in the Boise LDS Temple in 2008, becoming a forever family. Most recently, Christine lived in Payette, ID where she served in various leadership callings in the Payette 2nd Ward. Christine loved music and was a gifted musician--having studied and taught piano and played other instruments for many years. Christine also worked as a teaching assistant for the Payette School District and enjoyed interacting with her students. Christine was an avid genealogist, participated in many sports throughout her life and loved gardening. Special thanks go to the Payette 2nd Ward for their love and service for both Jerry and Christine and to Horizon Home Health and Hospice for their kind care during Christine's last months. Christine is survived by two brothers, Joel Warner (Alzina) and Terry Warner (Susan); her son, Robert Cary (Nina); daughters Amelia Hathaway and Kim Smith; step-children, Joy Brough (Robert), John Jensen (Becky), Jason Jensen (Jennifer), Jeffrey Jensen (Zella), Jerry Jensen (Brandi) and Jett Ryker Jensen; eight grandchildren, 31 step-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Beryl (Whiting) Warner; husband, Jerry Jensen; sons, Scott and Jim Cary; and son-in-law, Scott Hathaway.
