Cloise Delton Graves, 87, of Payette, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette, prior to graveside services. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 21st at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Cloise was born July 1, 1924 at Granbury, TX to parents Marom Graves and Goldie Greenleaf. He attended school at different towns, as his parents had to go from town to town for work. He started working on different farms when he was 13 years old. He then started welding at age 17 in Dallas, TX. Later he spent time in the army and afterwards went back to welding. He married Jackie and had three children; Cloise Jr., Lee, and Sonja. They divorced and he then married Joan and they had one child; Justin. They lived in Oregon for 14 years then moved back to Texas. Joan passed away in 1989, and Cloise later moved to Idaho. In Payette, ID he met Martha, fell in love and married and they have lived there until his death. He was very active in his church, enjoyed his welding, and was always busy in his shop. Cloise was a kind wonderful man and he will be missed so much by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Martha, his children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
