Daniel L. Power

Daniel L. Power, 45, Onslow, Iowa, formally of Idaho Falls, Idaho, left the rigors of life on earth and went to meet his Heavenly Father on February 25th, 2014. He was involved in a fatal single car accident. He was born on August 22nd, 1968, in Rockford, Illinois, to Harry L. and Sandra A. Power and was raised in Dubuque, Iowa. Daniel came to Idaho in 1990 where he met Suzette Erickson. They were married in 1993 and made their home in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced in 2012. He was employed as a painter and welder for various contractors in the area and was also a past member of painters Local Union 764. Daniel loved his family, music, and the outdoors in general. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Lyn Power; step-daughter, Keysha (Austin Goodwin) McMurtrey; grandson, Zarek Goodwin; his father, Harry Power and step-mother, Lisa (West) Power, all of Idaho Falls; brother, Damon (Petra) Power, of Iowa; sister, Debbie (Chuck) Meroff of Wisconsin; one niece, Sarah, and three nephews, Aaron, Goyathlay, and Naiche, all of Onslow, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Ann Power of Dubuque, Iowa. A visitation will be held for family and friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
