Daryl John Prater

Daryl John Prater, born March 16, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gerald W. Prater and Cynthia S. Cummings and passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2024.

Daryl cherished his freedom and lived life on his own terms. He found joy in drawing, writing, tattooing, and cooking, always seeking to support those he loved, a fierce protector with a strength that belied his quiet demeanor.

Daryl possessed a unique perspective on the world, offering acceptance and hope to those in darkness. He rarely judged others, fostering deep connections and was loved by many. He lived life with intensity, fueled by adrenaline and unwavering hope, 

Preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Cynthia, grandparents John and Lucille Prater, grandfather Norman Cummings.

Survived by his wife, Kristina Coles; his children Conner, Erica (Christian), Dylan, Kymbr (Deja), Brynnlee, and Enrique; 

A loving grandfather to his grandchildren Adisen, Drayven, Julius, Daxton, Kaizen, and Akari; Saphira and Leonitus; and Nikolai. 

And his siblings with whom he shared a special bond, and will miss him dearly William (Jennifer) Prater, Valerie (Clint) Prater, and Melanie(Jarred) Becker. His step siblings Sean (Angie) Sartori, Kelly (Heidi) Sartori, and Audra (Victor) Najara. Also survived by his grandmother Colleen Cummings
