David Brent Southwick

David Brent Southwick, born March 23, 1954, at the Idaho Falls LDS Hospital, son of Roy L. Southwick and Doris Marie Southwick, passed away of natural causes Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. David was raised in Ammon and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1972. David owned and operated a successful property management business in the Idaho Falls area for nearly 30 years. He married his wife and constant companion, Christine L. Southwick, on March 21, 1981. David was survived by his wife; two daughters, Amy Southwick of Idaho Falls and Linda Nelson of Idaho Falls; stepson, Shane Harker of Idaho Falls; eight grandchildren; his father, Roy Southwick of Idaho Falls; two brothers, Wayne Southwick of Idaho Falls and Gary K Southwick; and one sister, Sandra Arave of Idaho Falls. David was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Marie Southwick, and beloved sister, Debra Hill. Dave was an devoted family man who also enjoyed golfing, his cabin and the outdoors. His friends often complained, "Dave could catch fish in the middle of the road!"
