Debby was born May 29th, 1950 in Weiser, Idaho to Jerome and Melba Brubaker. Also preceding her in death were her brother Jerome Brubaker and sister Diana Sargent. She is survived by her loving husband Alfred Peterson of Scottsdale, AZ, son Paul S. Peterson and daughter-in-law Stacey of Clancy, MT and grandson Cameron Saito of Ontario, OR, plus four loving nephews and four nieces. Debby was highly successful in Mortgage Banking starting out as a loan processor for Mason McDuffie in Nampa, ID and then graduating to a loan officer and then becoming a branch manager for Old Stone Mortgage in Bellevue, WA. Debby finished her banking career as an underwriter for Ryland Mortgage in Scottsdale, AZ. Debby received many awards and accolades during her career but nothing meant more to her than the friendship, love and mutual respect she had with her fellow employees and clients. Debby enjoyed nothing more than cooking and entertaining family and friends. Those of us that were privileged to have her in our lives are left with an unfillable hole in our hearts with her passing. A Memorial service will be held at 10 am, Friday, Aug. 1st at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette with Dr. Tom Lobaugh officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery where Debby will be placed with her son and daughter in the family plot. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, c/o Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, PO Box 730, Payette, ID 83661 would be a most honorable and lasting gesture to Debby's memory.
