Debra (Debbie) Horton

Debra “Debbie” Anne Horton of Idaho Falls, ID passed peacefully on May 16, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her immediate family.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Valda Jay & Eleanor Cazier of Pasadena California, and sister Nora Winger of Centralia Washington.

Debbie lived her life in service to her church, her God, her family and her community. Over the years Debbie could be found singing in her church choir, participating in the “Cantata” eventually making it to Prague, Czech Republic by special invitation. Volunteering with Hospice, and with the Domestic Violence Intervention Center.
Debbie loved quilting, she took pride in designing a personalized quilt for every member of her family and was always ready to start another quilt for whomever came along. Debbie was an artist who loved creating her characters in sketch and paint. Much like her artwork Debbie always brought a touch of warmth and style to every occasion!

Debbie is survived by her husband Robert “Buck” Horton Jr. of 24 years, 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Debbie Horton will be held at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 455 W. Sunnyside Rd. Idaho Falls, ID 83402, on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 1pm.
