DeonDre Michael Kinney

Deon is survived by his Mother, Erin Daly; Father, Josh Kinney; Step-Mom, Amanda Williams; Sisters, Kiara, Acacia, Aislynn, and Alanis Kinney and Takari and Maronika Baldwin; Grandparents, Bert and Suzanne Sideroff, Chuck and Diane Kinney, Shannon Daly and Lauri Way; Aunts, Tara Sells and Jessie Kinney; Uncles, Sam Sells and Mason Sideroff; and Cousins, Rena, Tegan, and Jace Sells. He attended Fruitland, Payette and Parma School districts. He was a member of the local 4-H program in which he attended many local and state events including Teen Conference, Working Ranch Horse, Know Your Government, and Talk retreat. He enjoyed showing his dog, sheep and horse through the 4-H program. When Deon first started 4-H, a horse named "Headlight" was given to him by Idaho's Governor Butch Otter (who he also shares a birthday with). Deon loved all animals. He especially enjoyed the company of his beloved dog Rockey. Rockey was Deon's baby and true pride and joy. Deon enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, shooting, fishing, riding his dirt bike, driving his pickup, riding horses, and living the cowboy life as much as possible. Deon was also a talented athlete with an enormous amount of potential. He enjoyed playing soccer, golf, basketball and wrestling. Deon was a wonderful son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a protector of his mother and his sisters from the day his first sister was born and now is protecting them all from Heaven. Deon will be greatly missed by all. There will be a public service honoring Deon's life at the United Methodist Church in Payette, Idaho on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11 am. All are welcome to attend. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Deon's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
