Dolores Marie Wachs

Dolores Marie Wachs, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 18, 2012 in Idaho Falls. Dolores was born May 9, 1927 in Middleport, PA, to Michael Andrew Bobal and Susan Eve Matlock. Dolores was an active member of the Holy Rosary Parish and then Christ the King Parish since its inception. Dolores frequently contributed her unique views and concerns for the church's activities. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. Dolores married George Kingsley Wachs on July 30, 1949 in Allentown, PA. She and George dedicated their lives to raising six children, Cheryl (Tom) McCusker, George (Sabine), Gary (Patty), Gregg (Kristy), Cindy (Ron) Wright, and Geoffrey. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 22, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, and will be interred alongside her husband at Fielding Memorial Cemetery. A Rosary will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday December 21, 2012 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home.
