Donna Lee Ackerman York

Donna Lee (Ackerman) York, 80, of New Plymouth, passed away March 22, 2013 at Ashley Maner in Middleton. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 3rd at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Donna's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Donna was born in Ontario, OR, July 28, 1932 to Donald and Florence Ackerman. She lived most of her life in the New Plymouth area. She graduated from New Plymouth High School and married William York. They had five children; Karen Platz, Carol McGover, Donald York, Ted York, and Barry York. She had multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends. She worked at Woodgrain Mill Works until retiring. She loved and cared for people all her life. Donna spent the last part of her life with Alzheimer's disease. She loved with all her heart.
