She attended school at Riverdale and graduated from Shelley High School. A highlight in her life was the trip she and her sister took by train to Chicago for 4H in 1942. She married Lloyd Kenneth Erickson on February 14, 1944. They worked and lived on a farm in New Sweden. She also was a clerk for the New Sweden Store and for Saving Center. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, and cooking. She was a member of the Alliance Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Erickson, her daughter, Susan Hendricks, her sister, Ruth Erickson & spouse, Donald, brother Arvil Pickett & spouse Yolanda, and brother, Victor. She is survived by two sons, Lynn Erickson of Idaho Falls and Gary(Maureen) Erickson of Lexington, KY; two daughters, Doralee(Roy) Hathaway and Barbara Thurber, both of Idaho Falls; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-n-law, Jolene Pickett. Services will be as follows, Viewing, Wed. September 13, 2017 from 6-8pm at Buck Miller Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls. Funeral, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00am at River of Life Church, 525 S. Blvd. Family will greet guests one hour prior. Burial will follow at Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
