Doris May Jones Webster

August 10, 1920 — April 30, 2015

Doris May "Robinson" Webster age 94, formally of Payette went to be with the Lord Thursday April 30, 2015 in Walla Walla, WA at Walla Walla General Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Payette at 2:30 P.M. Saturday May 9, 2015. Friends may call from 4-6 pm Friday May 8, 2015 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette. Pastor Duane Vaughn will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. Condolences may be made to Doris's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
Doris was born on August 10, 1920 the middle child of three children born to Hugh W. and May E. Jones, in Boise, Idaho.
Doris lived her childhood and teen years in the Boise area. Doris graduated from Boise High School in 1937. She married Fred Robinson, June 1, 1938. They lived many places in Oregon and Idaho in their first years of marriage. They then bought a ranch between Payette and Weiser, Idaho. She spent many days, pushing cows, hauling hay, and raising four children. She was very active with school organizations, the First Baptist Church, Emblem Club, and Eastern Star. For many years she was a bookkeeper for White Motor Co. in Payette. Fred preceded her in death in April of 1972. Doris married Walt Hare on April 26, 1975. They had five and ½ years together before cancer took him in October of 1980. She met and married Ray Webster Sept. of 1983. They spent several happy years traveling in their retirement. Ray passed away in Nov of 1989. Daughter Linda White preceded her in death in August 1989, after many years of battling cancer. Doris enjoyed many years of visiting her children and tending her huge flower garden. Doris spent the last few years with her son and daughter, before joining a memory care family. She made many friends where ever she went. Doris always had a hug and a smile for everyone.
Doris is survived by three children and their spouses, sons Dr. Andrew Robinson (Mary Ann); Michael Robinson and (Marilyn); daughter Mary Teel and (Ed); 14 Grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in care of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel P.O. Box 730 Payette, Idaho 83661.
