Elizabeth Beye

Betty was born March 10, 1925 to Joseph and Zita Martin, in Green Bay , Wisconsin. The family later moved to Madison Wi. where she received her elementary and secondary schooling. She met and married Robert Neidner in Madison on June 25, 1949. They moved to Richland, Washington and later to Idaho Falls where they raised their six children. They were married for 26 years until Bob died of a heart attack in 1975 at the age of 50. Again she found love. On Sept 12, 1978 she married Robert Beye. They were married for 30 years. During their 30 years they were Grandma and Grandpa to their 14 grandkids along with numerous others. She was known as Grandma Betty to many. Betty loved to play bridge. She was involved with many bridge groups over the years. She also loved to crochet and bake. There were always fresh cookies when the family would stop by. She loved to play card games with the grand kids, but she could never win. She was a member of the Catholic Community. You could always find her at the 11:00 Mass. And after Mass she could be found at Papa Tom's. For the past 3 years she resided at Lincoln Court. Six months after she and Bob moved in, Bob had an accident and passed away. The family would like to thank Lincoln Court for the wonderful home and comfort they have given to her these last 2 ½ years. The family would also like to thank Eastern Idaho Hospice. What wonderful people and a wonderful program. Betty was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Bob Neidner and Bob Beye, a son Kenny Neidner and a grandson Steven Neidner. She is survived by her 5 children Bob (Carol) Neidner, Susie (David) Shrader, Patty (Blaine) Johnson, Jeannie Neidner, and Rick (Melissa) Neidner. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday November 12, 2011, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 1690 E. 17th Street, Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias, celebrant. Burial will be at Fielding Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday November 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street, Idaho Falls.Betty Neidner Beye , 86 of Idaho Falls passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday November 3, 2011. She was under Hospice care.
