Ellen was born May 6, 1950 in Chicago Illinois to Edith and Rutger Lindberg. She was a member of the first graduating class from Skyline High School in Idaho Falls Idaho. Ellen was married to David H Yeary September 6, 1968. While married they were stationed at various locations around the world, and settled in Idaho Falls. Ellen enjoyed arts and crafts, television, many good friends as well as her cat Violet. She also took great joy and pride in the achievements of her six grandchildren. Ellen was one of the first women to go into management for the Safeway Company. She also worked for Ernst and Sears and Roebuck. Ellen was also a substitute teacher in special education. Most recently she sold advertising for high school athletic programs. Ellen was raised in a Lutheran upbringing, and was very strong in her Christian walk and faith.
Ellen is survived by her daughter Michelle (Liberty Lake WA), six grandchildren Jessica Danielson, Erica Danielson, Brittani Danielson, (Liberty Lake WA), Sidney Abeyta, CJ Abeyta, Brenae Abeyta , (Grand Junction CO). Ellen is also survived by her 88 year old mother, Edith Lindberg (Idaho Falls ID), a sister Donna Haggard-Chase (Kaysville UT), brothers Richard, Joel, Steven, and Brian Lindberg (Idaho Falls ID). Ellen is preceded in death by her father Rutger Lindberg and her daughter Dionne Abeyta. Cremation took place in Nampa, Idaho. A memorial service and celebration of Ellen's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on June 2nd in Idaho Falls at Buck Miller Hann Funeral home 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Cemetery following the memorial service.
