Eloise Alleene Deuel went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 9, 2011. She was born in Afton, Oklahoma, on May 4, 1924. She lived most of her life in Southern Idaho. She was married to Delbert Jacklin from 1949 until his passing in 1968 and was married to Elden Deuel from 1975 to 2000. Delbert and Eloise had one daughter, Marilee Edith Jacklin, who preceded Eloise in death in 1993. Marilee had one daughter, Misty Alleene Hobbs, whom Eloise raised from age 11 to adulthood. Eloise was active at Tyler Street Baptist Church when married to Delbert and then attended the Assembly of God Church. She taught Sunday School, worked in the Awana Program, and sang in the choir. She was an active and faithful servant until her health prevented her from participating. Eloise is survived by one brother, John Skaggs in Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Thelma Lenker in Salem, Oregon, and Ruth Schoenhals in Miami, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Misty Hobbs Roque, three great grandchildren (Lorenzo, Raul and Evianna), as well as eight stepchildren of the Deuel family.
