Elsie Luella Wyatt, age 105, of New Plymouth, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 in Ontario, OR. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 27th at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth with Pastor Rod Tegethoff officiating. Elsie was born December 7, 1906 in Orosi, CA to Joseph Hazen and Lily Belle (Jobe) Edwards. She was one of six children; four brothers and one sister. She quit school before her high school years to stay at home and help care for her younger siblings and help her dad with the ranch chores. Elsie married Loyd S. Wyatt on March 31, 1955 in Carson City, NV. Loyd passed away Sept. 30, 1983. She loved flowers, gardening, to hunt and fish, crochet, do embroidery, and woodworking. Elsie was a rock hound, sports fan, and had a goat farm. She was still crocheting at the age of 100. She enjoyed life in general and had the attitude that hard work never hurt anyone. Elsie is survived by several nieces and nephews living in California and Nancy Edwards of Marsing, ID.
