Emma Grace Murphey

Emma Grace Weekes, Kearby, Murphey, Hazelton, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at home due to heart failure. Emma was born January 18, 1937 to Allen Sylvester & Ethel Viola Morgan Weekes in Jerome, Idaho. She spent her younger years in Jerome, and most of her adult life in the Eden & Hazelton area. She married Kenneth Kearby & they had three children, Diana, Sue & Russell. They later divorced, but Emma remained in Hazelton, where she worked, played, and enjoyed the many wonderful friends she had made over the years. Emma is survived by two children, Russell Kearby, Boise and Sue [Bret] Hopkins, Phoenix, Arizona, three grandchildren Allen Tucker, Brian Tucker and Lauren Whitman and three great-grandchildren Aubrey Whitman, Briylin Tucker and Cameron Tucker; siblings, Norma Walsh, Eagle, Allen Junior Weekes, Blackfoot, and Ronald [Chris] Weekes, Caldwell, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Diana Kearby, her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Viola and Walt Miller, Boise, sisters Cora Clapper, Elyria, Ohio, Lanita Weekes, Boise, and brother-in-law Rodney Walsh, Eagle, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services are to be held Saturday October 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at White Mortuary, 136 4th Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. Interment will follow at the Hazelton Cemetery.
