IDAHO FALLS - Erma Maxfield Fowler, 99 of Idaho Falls died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the Legacy House in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on April 28, 1914 in Iona to Roy and Laura Taylor Maxfield. She attended schools in Ucon, Stockton, Utah, and attended Tooele, Utah High School. She married William P. Fowler on April 28, 1934 in Pocatello. She farmed in Coltman until she retired to Idaho Falls. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed needlework and quilting and was a member of the PTA. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Survivors include her son, Laurie G. (Carol) Fowler of Kelso, Washington; daughter, Lexie (Alan) French of Kennewick, Washington; two grandsons, Eirik Fowler of Idaho Falls and Travis French of Homedale; two granddaughters, Debbi (Phil) Lipinski of Auburn, Washington, and Mikela (Anthony McKnight) French of Oakland, California; two sisters, Jessie Justesen of Chester, Utah and Emma Marie (Tom) Morris of Taylorsville, Utah; and niece, Raylene (Paul) Glover of Midvale, Utah, and many nieces and nephews; and four great-grandchildren, Nick, Matt, Megan and Eirika Lipinski. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband and two brothers. Ten days after Erma's death her sister Jessie Justesen passed away. A Memorial Service for will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Actor's Repertory Theatre of Idaho (ARTI), Box 50423, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83405; or the Idaho Falls Symphony, 440 N. Capital Street #B, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402.
