Ethel Louise Staley Alleman, 78, of Boise died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 17th, 2017 at her home in Boise Idaho.
Ethel was born on April 8, 1938, in Idaho Falls to James and Gertrude Staley. She was raised alongside her older sister Ellen and younger sisters Ruth and Wilma in Mud Lake Idaho. She met Jean Twitchell at a dance, and on August 27, 1956 the two were married. Ethel was later blessed with four beautiful daughters. She was a wonderful mother who raised her daughters with faith in the Lord, strong morals, and perseverance.
Ethel is best remembered for her kind heart, her warm soul, and her love for her family. She was a strong beautiful woman, with a love for painting and quilting. Ethel had a contagious laugh and the ability to make others feel loved and at peace. She spent her time after retirement volunteering with the Foster Grandparents program at Juvenile Corrections Center. For almost seven years she showed the students at JCC how wonderful it was to experience a grandma's love.
Ethel has joined her mother, father, sisters Ruth and Wilma, and her granddaughter, Melissa in Heaven. She leaves behind her daughters Aronlee (Gordon) Gould, Debbie (Andy) Anderson, Elizabeth (Jaime) Aguilar and Emily Twitchell along with 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren who will carry her spirit and memories of her full and blessed life.
