Fay Davis passed away September 6, 2013 at age of 85. She was born May 24, 1928 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, daughter of Edmund Ingram and Ora Kelly Ingram. Fay married Bill Davis in 1945 and they made their lifelong home in Idaho Falls.
Fay was a homemaker who loved the outdoors including camping, hunting, and fishing, and was an accomplished bowler. Much of her time was spent taking care of her four sons. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She maintained friendships with people from her early days in school and played cards monthly for 70 years with the same group of friends who referred to themselves as the "Club Girls". After Bill's death in 2007, she moved into Fairwinds retirement center in 2008 where she started a new chapter in her life, added some new friends, and resided there until her death.
Fay is survived by her four sons and their wives, Bill and Chris of Blackfoot, Blair and Jean of Juneau, Alaska, Bruce and Diana of Idaho Falls, and Brad and Leasa of Juneau, Alaska, her sister Marjorie Beck of Bellevue, Washington, her twin brothers, Bob (Carol) and Ralph Ingram, sister-in-law Ethel Anderson of Idaho Falls, nine grandchildren - Trevor, Jamie, Jason, Siri, Kari, Dustin, Jennifer, Melissa, and Spencer, and great-grandchildren Carli, Cherokee, Kelly, Casey, Janae, Kaybrea, Tori, Ames, Ginger Fay, and Peter Allen. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brother Kenneth Ingram, and her grandson Denver Davis.
Graveside services will be held at 3:15 on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the graveside services the service at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, located at 825 E 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Fairwinds at Sand Creek where she lived for the past five years and to Life Care Center in Idaho Falls for the end of life care they provided.
