Fay was born on July 4, 1928 in Willow Springs, MO to Marvin and Opal Whited. Fay was the oldest of six children. She grew up on the family farm, where she had many adventures and learned the value of hard work. She went to school at the Pine Creek School and after graduating the eighth grade she dropped out of school to help with others at home. In 1946 she moved to town and worked for Radford Café where she received room and board and $20.00 a week. It was while working at the café she met her husband to be, Monroe Seiber. They were married on April 4, 1947. To this union a son, Roy, was born in 1948. In 1950 the family moved to Parma, ID where she and Monroe worked for various farmers and Amalgamated Sugar Co. In 1958 the family moved to Nyssa, OR where Monroe was employed at Amalgamated full time. They lived in Nyssa until Monroe passed away in 1973. Fay then lived in Ontario, OR for several years. In 1996 she moved to Fruitland, ID with her son Roy. In 2010 she met an old school sweetheart by the name of Wesley Radford. They were married in 2011 in Springfield, MO and moved to Fruitland in 2012 to be nearer to her son. Fay was a stay at home mother and homemaker all her life. She really enjoyed doing embroidery and did so up until the time of her death. All of her son's co-workers and friends called her mom. Everyone kidded her by always saying her house needed cleaned even though it was spotless. She always said no one could forget her birthday and that there would always be fireworks. She is survived by her husband Wesley Radford and son Roy Seiber of Fruitland; siblings Lois Holdt of Caldwell, Joe Whited of Fruitland, Betty Grogan and Jack Whited of Willow Springs, MO; as well as special sons Clarence, Jack and Ryan; and a special friend Betty Jones.
