Fernando Gonzalez

Fernando Gonzalez, 28, passed away from injuries sustain in a motor cycle accident in his home town of Roberts, Friday, July 18, 2014. He was born October 24, 1985 in Idaho Falls, to Gabriel Gonzalez and Balbina Gonzalez. He was the oldest of five children. He was attending EITC, to recive his degree in Diesel Mechanics. He was an outstanding student with a 3.7 GPA. He worked for the family business Gonzalez Transportation. He had a passion for speed and cars, but dedicated himself entirely to his family and his work. He showed a remarkable kind of love towards his nieces and nephews. He spent most of his summer afternoons under the hood of his beloved "Jenny" 2001 Ford Mustang GT, rebuilding the engine. His car was his pride and joy. He also spent a lot of time and energy working on his Dad's Diesel Trucks. He was a very dedicated man when it came to accomplishing tasks. Between work, school, and his car, he still took the time to care for his parents and spend time with his close friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and carried himself with a constant smile on his face. Above all he was always the protector of his family, and he will be remembered for the love and compassion he showed for them all. Fernando is survived by his true love, Anna Rosa Rosales and his parents Gabriel Gonzalez and Balbina Gonzalez. His younger brother Salvador Gonzalez, and his 3 younger sisters Laura Gonzalez, Gabriela Gonzalez, and Lillian Isabella Gonzalez.
Also by his much loved nieces and nephews. Jayda (Jayz) Echeverria, Adan (Neeners) Sanchez, Adrain I. Gonzalez, Avalii (Weezy) Echeverria, Arriana (Menise) Gonzalez, Jazlene (Mi Gordita) Gonzalez, Damian (Shamus) Gonzalez, Kingston (Negro) Alvarado. Fernando was preceded in death by his sister Lucia Gonzalez. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, on the corner of 9th & Lee in Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias, celebrant. Burial will follow in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be recited from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a viewing from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
