Forrest Leroy "Roy" Stauffer

Roy died from injuries in an automobile accident on July 3rd, 2018. He was born July 1st, 1944 in Geneva, Nebraska to Forrest Earl Stauffer and Millie A. Stauffer. He came to Idaho in 1949 with his family. He went to school in Shelley, York, and Rigby, Idaho. He worked with his dad on the farm and also Bonneville County and Wiemer Heating for 40 years. He married Karen Ferguson in 1963 and 2 daughters were born to this union. They later were divorced.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Stauffer and Lori Harada (Norman); Grandson, Greg "Bud" Harada; Granddaughter, Nancy "Bubbles" Bowcutt (Brian); Great Grandson, Cooper Harada; Great Granddaughter, Morgan Bowcutt; his sister, Darlene Henderson (Dick); Nephew, Terry Rosen and Niece, Vickie Rosen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at Buck Miller Hann Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2 pm. A visitation will be at noon, prior to funeral services. Interment will follow funeral services at Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
