Frances E. Snow

Frances E. Snow (aka Frank or Frankie), loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 87 at River Ridge Rehabilitation Center on July 17, 2014. She was born to parents Oscar and Lucille Riewerts on October 1, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, Washington. She graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland, California in 1944. She married the love of her life, Dale Snow, on August 11, 1944 at the Fruitvale Christian Church in Oakland, CA. They lived in Hutchinson, KS where their first child was born while Dale served in the Navy during WWII. She and Dale spent many years in Oakland, CA raising their son and three daughters and have spent over 50 years in Twin Falls, ID. She worked as a teller at Twin Falls Bank and Trust for nine years and then worked at the Twin Falls County Assessor's Office as a Deputy until she retired with Dale in 1983. She spent much of her free time working on the arts and crafts that she loved, creating beautiful gifts for her family and friends. She and Dale fostered a love of the outdoors and spent a great deal of their time camping with friends and family in the South Hills and Sawtooth Mountains. They also enjoyed golf and traveled to Earp, CA for the winter months during their retirement.

The last years of her life have been spent in the Magic Valley enjoying friends and family including, their children, grandchildren and great-grand children. Frances is survived by her son/daughter-in-law Gary and Sharman Snow; her three daughters/son-in-laws Sandy and Bert Dobbs, Evelynn and Jim Garner, Meg and Roger Morgan; her 14 grandchildren and 30 ½ great grandchildren; her sisters; Lee Sethe, Arlene Sisson, Carlynn Penton and her brother Ed Riewerts Memorial services for Frances E. Snow will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls, Idaho. Service will be performed by Pastor Dan Gunn.
