He moved to Superior, WY at age four and graduated from Superior High School in 1952. Frank moved to Blue River, OR, and went to work in the woods as a faller. He married Phyllis Rollins and had two daughters, Deborah Renee and Jacqueline Dawn. In 1955 he moved to Midvale, ID, and logged timber in the area, including falling timber for the right-of-way to Brownlee Dam. While stationed at Fort Ord Frank married the love of his life, Joan Gillman, on June 12, 1958, in Pacific Grove, CA. The couple united three daughters into the marriage and together they had three sons, Frank Dean, Douglas Allen James, and Darwin George. After his service in Alaska, Frank moved to Payette and started in the masonry business, eventually owning his own business from which he retired in 1996. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time at their place in Hells Canyon, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Frank will be remembered for his easy going manner, his gentle way, and his warm smile.
