Gary A Weaver

Gary A. Weaver went to be with the Lord July 29, 2012 at the age of 74. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2nd at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in New Plymouth. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday Aug. 3rd at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Gary's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Gary was born on October 16, 1937 in Woodland, CA to Cleo and Dulcie Weaver. Gary joined the U.S. Navy in February 1955 and was stationed out of Long Beach, CA. where he learned the trade of an electrician. At the close of his time in the service he met his wife Bobby Kaylor from Hanford, CA. After being honorably discharged in 1957, Gary and Bobby settled down in the in the Fresno area and began raising a family. He worked at several different jobs, but at the age of 54 he retired from Fresno County Road Department as lead supervisor at the Dunlap, CA yard. During that time he spent a year traveling, fishing off the coast of California and then settling down in New Plymouth, ID. His surviving family members are his wife, Bobby Weaver; children, Kathy McIntosh, Brenda Cronk, and Daniel Weaver; sisters, Jeannie Pemintel, Katie Boyd, and Shannon Corryel; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
