Geraldine Thorson "Jerrie" Lawrence

Jerrie married Steve Edwards in 1953. They had four children, Susan, Tom and twins Trish and Mike. They ran the Edwards Motors Dodge Dealership and Garage in Weiser for many years. She enjoyed many activities with her family such as snowmobiling, motorcycling, boat racing, hunting and spending time at the cabin. Later, Jerrie worked at the local grocery store faithfully for over 27 years. Upon her retirement she enjoyed camping with family and her friends, attending Weiser Elks Club activities and pampering her faithful companion "Kitter" cat. Jerrie was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Emma, her son Tom and granddaughter Ali Carnig. She leaves behind her sister Marilyn (Don) Burris, twin sister Jackie (John) Harringfeld, daughters Susan Winters and Trish Carnig, Son Mike (ReNae) Edwards: 7 grandchildren Rina (John) Kincaid, Steven Winters, Paul and Elizabeth Carnig, Kristan (Tony) Ogburn, Kelsey (Cedric) Cassagnol, and Kendall (Tad) Jones: 5 great-grandchildren Carson, Kayli, Jace, Tyce and Emma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ali Carnig Scholarship Fund through the Weiser School District Office or a Charity of choice. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7th at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. She was raised on the Thorson family ranch in the Cove area.
