Helen A Bargelski

Helen Allene Bargelski, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 28, 2012 at Life Care. She was born on February 12, 1914 in Erie, PA to Joseph Erdely and Elizabeth Ugorchak Erdely who emigrated from Hungary in 1909. Helen was one of twelve children and the oldest girl. Helen went back to school to complete her high school education and earned her GED when she was 78 years old. On September 7, 1936 she married Raymond Bargelski in Erie, PA. Helen enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid reader. She also worked a daily crossword puzzle. Helen and Raymond moved to Idaho Falls to be near their family in 1988.
Survivors include her son, Michael J. Bargelski (Donna); grandsons, Chris J. Bargelski and Jeff D. Thompson ; granddaughter, Chanin Thompson all of Idaho Falls. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, and daughter Susan Bargelski Gunesch.
Private family services were held on Friday February 3, 2012 at the Taylor Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls.
